The work on this Erasmus project is divided into several work packages:
Work-Package One
Work package one deals with the organization and implementation of the project and the publication of the project results.
Work Package Two
How can religious education address environmental ethics effectively across different cultural and national contexts?
Work Package two lays the foundation for a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach by analyzing religious education and teacher training frameworks.
Work Package Three
Water is more than just a resource — it holds profound spiritual, ethical, and environmental significance. Work Package three explores the complex interplay between the sacredness of water in religious traditions, environmental sustainability, and ethical responsibility, using water as an exemplary theme to develop innovative, interreligious teaching approaches.
Work Package Four
Climate justice is not only an environmental issue — it is a question of ethics, responsibility, and global solidarity. Work Package 4 explores how interreligious cooperation can foster a deeper understanding of climate justice and provide concrete educational tools to integrate this urgent topic into teacher training and school curricula.
Work-Package Five
Environmental protection and peace education are deeply interconnected. Work Package 5 expands on the findings of the project to demonstrate how environmental ethics is a fundamental part of interreligious learning and a key component of peace education. By integrating ecological responsibility into religious education, this work package strengthens cooperation, motivation, and long-term sustainability in addressing global challenges.
